I shaved my hair off!!

Hello there, and happy new year! Hope you’ve had a great start to the year.

On the 27th of November I decided to shave my hair off! I managed to raise £542 in total for the Mutch brothers which I am absolutely over the moon about!

I did film myself shaving it off so if you would like to see that video then click here

It’s not something that I’ve ever done before and the shortest I’ve had my hair before this was a bob! I had no idea what to expect but honestly I am so glad that I did it. It’s a whole new experience and saves a LOT of time in the morning! I keep getting complimented and people are asking about it, and saying that they would love to do it too.

If you’ve ever thought about shaving your hair but have been too scared then I say go for it! After all, hair grows back ❤

Hello 2016

It’s  been a while, hasn’t it? I’m sorry for not posting in a while, I feel like I’ve ran out of blogging ideas! I have got a planner so hopefully everything will  be more organised and weekly posts will be back! If you have any ideas though, please throw them this way! I hope you all had a great Christmas and New Year, and celebrated it with the people you care about most. I uploaded a YouTube video yesterday about how I am starting the New Year, it is very different to what I normally post but I felt like it was necessary. If you would like to check it out, click here

I also put on like half a stone over Christmas WOO

Anyways, until next time (which won’t be months and months away, I promise), goodbye for now little buns! x

Kylie Jenner inspired make up tutorial!

Hi everyone! I’ve been stuck in a bit of a blogging rut as of late and I feel like everything I write is super boring and not me. So after a lovely holiday and time to relax I have really thought about what I need to do and how. Hopefully it works this time..
So anyway, yeah, tutorial!

For my foundation I just mixed my new Giorgio Armani foundation with a darker bourjois one because believe it or not- I’m actually tanned! I also added some of the Benefit High Beam for a beautiful glow.

To conceal and highlight I just used my favourite MAC pro longwear concealer in NC15 and plonked it pretty much everywhere, as you can see in the picture above..hopefully.

For the rest of my face makeup I contoured with the bronzer from the urban decay flushed pallete in “native”, used the sleek rose gold blush to add a bit of colour and then a make up revolution highlighter with more gold tones in it to give me a warmer highlighted look.

…like that.

For my eyes I started with MAC “cork” and a little bit of “patina” to start to create some shadows and definition.

Next I used “faint” to darken this up and “naked 2” to blend it out more, I also put this underneath my bottom lash line to make sure my eyes didn’t look too top heavy. I then added “foxy” to my lid and lined my upper lash line and added a teeny tiny wing as Kylie doesn’t appear to wear cat eye looks.

I then added some of the Benefit rollerlash mascara…

before adding falsies and filling my brows in with the anastasia dip brow pomade in “dark brown”.

For those classic Kylie Jenner lips I just (over)lined my lips using my favourite “mahogany” lip liner by The Body Shop and my make up revolution ‘happy lips’ lip stick in “love nude”.

I just finished off my spritzing my face with some fix+ et voila!

I hope that you enjoyed this post and that you are all doing well, have a great day and goodbye for now little buns! x

I made a YouTube channel??

Hi guys! After wanting to do it for years, I finally took the plunge and made a YouTube channel!

I will still have my blog posts obviously but I always like to watch/listen to YouTube videos when I’m getting ready rather than read blog posts, so I thought you guys might like to watch me..for some weird reason.

Anyways here is my first video-

I hope you enjoy it, goodbye for now little buns!

Merry Christmas! (2014)

Hello Everyone! I hope you are all having, or had, an amazing Christmas! Today I am going to share with you some of the things I got, obviously not everything because I don’t think you want to hear me ramble on about wonder woman knickers, millions of scented candles and cosy socks. I also just want to say that I am not bragging in any way, shape or form, I just love writing and reading haul style posts and I hope that you guys do too! So, let’s begin.

I got X by Ed Sheeran and 1989 by Taylor Swift and I think I’ve already listened to them 6 times each. They are both amazing so if you are thinking of getting yourself a little something something, boom, both of these.

Next are these babies. LOOK AT THEM. HNNNNGGGG
So shiny and masculine AND feminine, and comfortable.

Next is this Estee Lauder Blush in “Plush Petal”, let’s start with the packaging please. It just look’s so luxurious and “posh”.

I can’t cope. Someone please send help. Beauty in it’s simplest form. It is so pigmented and feels super smooth. It also looks surprisingly natural on my face.

The next thing I got was this Urban Decay Smoked palette that comes with a free liner and mini primer potion! I love Urban Decay shadows so I was super excited to get this.

As you can see all of the colours are so beautiful and on the darker, smokier side. I have already used some of the colours this morning and I can’t wait to do loads of make up looks with this palette!

I also got this Tanya Burr “Aurora” lip gloss which is so creamy and very pigmented for a lip gloss. I love the colour as it still looks natural and is my equivalent of “nude”.

Everyone always gets bath sets for Christmas so I thought I would smush these all together so it’s not too repetitive! I got the next cashmere set, a Ted Baker set, the Lush Happy box thing, a jelly baby set and a lush candy mountain bath bomb, and one that I could not fit in the picture…

which is The Body Shop Argan Oil collection thingy but all wrapped up in a cute little box! I will probably review this next year as I am expecting great things!

Next I got two things from the Zoella pamper range which is the blue make up bag because her eyebrows are on fleek and the fizz bar. I have seen Louise aka Sprinkle of Glitter use this and the bubbles this makes are amazing!

I think I have enough lip balm to say that I collect it so obviously I was bought more! I can’t get enough of lip balm so I can’t wait to try these out!

I also managed to get two naked basics palettes so stay tuned to find out what will be happening with one of them… The colours in the palette are very versatile and I really think that you could survive with just this palette, day and night!

Since these are the more “adult” presents I thought I’d save these as my last two. As you can see I got two bottles of vodka because my family know me too well. One is salted caramel popcorn flavoured and the other is “hot” (aka chilli) chocolate flavoured, and is nearly 40%! If it doesn’t kill me then I will see you next time! I hope you enjoyed this post and enjoy the rest of your day! Goodbye for now little buns!

September Favourites 2014!

Hey guys! I can’t believe that September is nearly over already! It feels like this year has absolutely flown by! Since Autumn is my favourite season I thought it would be a great time to do my first ever monthly favourites. So go and grab a nice hot chocolate and snuggle up for a good read.

My favourite (new) song this month has got to be ‘Shake it off‘ by the one and only Taylor Swift. I love how its basically just a massive f*ck you to everyone who has ever criticised her, and it is soooo catchy. Another song I have been loving this month is ‘When I was your man‘ by Bruno Mars, I don’t know why I have grown to love it so much this particular month but I can’t stop singing it.

This month I got my job at the hairdressers, so why not talk about some hair things that I have been loving? I have particularly enjoyed Avons ‘Advance Techniques Moroccan Argan Oil‘. It smells so amazing and makes my hair feel super smooth. It also helps to tame any fly-aways I may have! I have also been wearing my hair in French or Dutch braids constantly. Its so easy to wear them day or night and then take them out and have a lovely heat-less wavy hairstyle! When using heat I have been using the Toni&Guy ‘Heat Protection Mist‘, it smells pretty pleasant and doesn’t make my hair sticky like the last one I used (I’m looking at you Schwarzkopf).

One make-up product I have been loving this September is the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette, it’s just so great for an every-day or evening look, Autumn/Winter time in particular. Each shadow is so pigmented and smooth to the touch. Whenever I’m stuck for make-up ideas I always reach for this palette. If you are looking for a great high end palette, this is the one. My favourite lipstick for fall, which also happens to be the one I am wearing in the picture above, is the Rimmel Kate Moss matt lipstick in 107. It is not drying on my lips in the slightest and is the perfect lip colour for the colder weather.

There are two things in the ‘food&drink’ category that I have been addicted to this September. Numero uno is red pepper hummus. I just can’t get enough of it! On sandwiches, crackers, veggies, anything. Another thing I have been loving is hot chocolate, particularly the Cadbury hot chocolate. It’s just so smooth and creamy, it instantly makes me feel all warm and cosy.

My favourite item of clothing this month has been my care bear onesie, which I only got last week, but I have been wearing it as often as I can. It is so comfortable (and pink!!) AND part of the money goes to helping women with breast cancer.

There is one shop that I have not been able to stay out of this month…Lush. I don’t actually have baths all that often, but when I do, a lush product makes an appearance. The smells are just, wow. And my skin always feels amazing afterwards. I have never had any product that has irritated my skin and they fight against animal testing. Also, everyone who works there is an absolute babe. I always feel so welcome in Lush!

I didn’t know if I was going to include this because it’s so difficult trying to decide but here it is, my favourite youtuber of September…Arden Rose. I just love this woman so much. I just love her attitude and sense of humour. She is also so incredibly pretty it’s unreal.

And last but not least is my favourite app. Instagram. I don’t know what it is but recently I just cant get off it. I can sit scrolling through it for hours on end, I’m just so nosey.

So that’s it for today! I don’t know when I will be posting again this week, it might have to be Sunday, but if so then I will see you then! If you cant wait that long then I am always active on my social media in the evenings (plug plug plug)

……or you can always take a cheeky listen on Soundcloud

Goodbye for now little buns!

Laying my cards on the table

Okay, so, to have a blog I’m guessing you guys need to know about me. Well, first off, I’m 17 and currently stuck in a rut. I went to the doctors suffering from chest pains, shortness of breath, extreme dizziness and fatigue. After looking for all physical causes he said I was suffering from stress and anxiety and I should be “climbing Mount Everest in the morning and striding across the Sahara Desert at noon” and sent me on my way. Since then my anxiety has gotten a lot worse and I believe I am also suffering from depression.

My Mother believes that it is the stress of school that is affecting me and I am due to leave after my last exam on Friday. I have been searching high and low for an apprenticeship and after having a successful interview for one I am just not 100% that it is what I want to do. Although I do love working with children I’m not sure that I am completely ready for this. I am supposed to go in for a half day next week but after getting off the phone I burst into tears, I’ve never been so petrified in all my life. Which then makes me feel that perhaps it is not school that is causing my stress but just life itself.

I have always wanted to sing for a living but my low confidence and self esteem kicked that one out the window and to the bottom of the ocean. Then I wanted to work with make up, I love everything about it and how you can make somebody so happy by just applying make up on their face and enhancing their natural beauty. After watching youtube videos religiously I have always wanted my own channel but I just don’t know where to start. What would I film? Would anyone watch my videos? How to I make my channel different to all the millions of other beauty channels? But I suppose we shall see in the future if I ever jump into the deep end and just go for it.

Many moons ago I did have a youtube channel where I would just sing my little heart out. But after some digs from people at school I removed each video and deleted my channel.

So this is what is going on in my head at the moment, good bye for now little buns ^.^
