Autumn walks make up look!

Hello my lovelies! I hope you’re all having a great day, today I am going to show you how I got this-

DSC_0464

– makeup look, keep reading!

DSC_0446

Here’s my wonderful “before face”, moisturised, primed and ready to rumble. I also applied a bit of the benefit high beam to all of the high points of my face to give that ‘glowing from within’ look.

DSC_0448

I then mixed together the Georgio Armani and Illamasqua foundations to give me the right amount of coverage without completely covering every imperfection.

DSC_0449

Next I concealed and highlighted with my MAC pro longwear concealer in NC15 and set that with my Rimmel clear complexion powder.

DSC_0450

To contour I used the Bourjois ‘chocolate bronzer’ and applied that quite generously to the hollows of my cheekbones, forehead, under my lip and under my jawline. For blush I just used the Estee Lauder ‘plush petal’ and applied it mainly towards the back of my cheeks to keep my face looking lifted. I then highlighted using the makeup revolution vivid baked highlighter in ‘golden lights’ to fake that I am a golden goddess.

DSC_0456

I then built up the two matte brown colours in my crease and outer corner of my eyes to make them look more smokey and sultry.

DSC_0451
DSC_0452

DSC_0457

I then added the darker toned pink shimmery colour to the outer side of my lids and the lighter pink shimmery colour on the inner third.

DSC_0453

Then I placed the matte brown colours underneath my eye, added a white eyeliner on my water line, and thin black liner on my top lash line and also some small dots in my bottom lash line to make my lashes look thicker.

DSC_0458

Like so!

DSC_0459
DSC_0460
I then filled in my brows with the anastasia dip brow pomade in ‘dark brown’ and applied both the Benefit roller lash and the maybelline ‘the rocket’ waterproof mascara and moved on to lips!

DSC_0462

I first chucked on the body shop ‘mahogany’ lip liner- shocker! But it makes my lips look huge so it’s okay

DSC_0463

Then for a bit of gloss for those ‘kissable’ lips I added the Elizabeth Arden lip gloss in ‘latte’.

Then after spending forever messing with my hair (it ended up in a braid, since we actually went the beach..in October) I was ready to go!

I hope you enjoyed this post and I look forward to speaking to you again soon! Goodbye for now little buns!

Kylie Jenner inspired make up tutorial!

Hi everyone! I’ve been stuck in a bit of a blogging rut as of late and I feel like everything I write is super boring and not me. So after a lovely holiday and time to relax I have really thought about what I need to do and how. Hopefully it works this time..
So anyway, yeah, tutorial!

DSC_0452

For my foundation I just mixed my new Giorgio Armani foundation with a darker bourjois one because believe it or not- I’m actually tanned! I also added some of the Benefit High Beam for a beautiful glow.

DSC_0453

To conceal and highlight I just used my favourite MAC pro longwear concealer in NC15 and plonked it pretty much everywhere, as you can see in the picture above..hopefully.

DSC_0454

For the rest of my face makeup I contoured with the bronzer from the urban decay flushed pallete in “native”, used the sleek rose gold blush to add a bit of colour and then a make up revolution highlighter with more gold tones in it to give me a warmer highlighted look.

DSC_0456

…like that.

DSC_0457
DSC_0459

For my eyes I started with MAC “cork” and a little bit of “patina” to start to create some shadows and definition.

DSC_0460

Next I used “faint” to darken this up and “naked 2” to blend it out more, I also put this underneath my bottom lash line to make sure my eyes didn’t look too top heavy. I then added “foxy” to my lid and lined my upper lash line and added a teeny tiny wing as Kylie doesn’t appear to wear cat eye looks.

DSC_0461

I then added some of the Benefit rollerlash mascara…

DSC_0462

before adding falsies and filling my brows in with the anastasia dip brow pomade in “dark brown”.

DSC_0463

For those classic Kylie Jenner lips I just (over)lined my lips using my favourite “mahogany” lip liner by The Body Shop and my make up revolution ‘happy lips’ lip stick in “love nude”.

DSC_0464
DSC_0466

I just finished off my spritzing my face with some fix+ et voila!

Natural…ish make up look!

Hi everyone- again, sorry for the delay in posts, everything has been so chaotic, I feel like the days are just flying by! But I will have TWO posts up for you today and hopefully a make up, hair and outfit post up on Wednesday! Anyway, let’s crack on!

DSC_0292

Sooo here is my face (and bog eye) before touching it, take it in, like it, love it, hate it, whatever, just enjoy it (comment if you know where that’s from!!).

After putting on my usual moisturiser I applied the MAC strobe cream on where I would…willl highlight to give me the “glowing from within” thing that people are supposed to want, I don’t know.

As I primer I used the Nivea men’s post shave balm because Nikki told me to and oh my Jesus.. it’s the best discovery EVER! Your foundation will literally stick to your face and will not go anywhere.

I then used both the Illamasqua skin base and the L’oreal true match foundation in the lightest shades (surprising, I know) with a beauty blender to give me that medium-full coverage. Next I went in with my Bourjois foundation in “Dark beige” to contour and MAC pro longwear concealer in NC15 to highlight, like so…

DSC_0294

I just blended it in using my beauty blender et voila.

DSC_0295

Even though it’s a lot of product, it still looks natural (in my opinion). Also my nose is hideous from the side, but my cheekbone looks gooood, and that’s my bad one.

I just went over that with the bronzer, a peachy/pink blush and highlighter from the make up revolution blush palette in “sugar and spice”.

DSC_0296

As you can see there are still no harsh lines but it just has a bit more ‘oomph’!

DSC_0297

For my eyes I started with “drama” from the make up revolution iconic pro 1 palette and put that on my lid and the bit of my ‘eye sag’ that is hidden.

DSC_0298

I then added “afflicted” really sloppily in my ‘crease’ and what I wish was my crease.

DSC_0299

I then blended that out and upwards to create a nice gradient affect. And added more until I was satisfied. To balance it out I just added “afflicted” to my lower lash line too.

DSC_0300

This is me trying to show you the hidden bit of my eye sag, I’m very professional like that.

DSC_0301

I then used the NYC liquid eyeliner that is like a felt tip to create a thin line along my lash line to make my lashes look more voluminous and so that you know I have make up on, I want to look natural but so that you can tell I made an effort.

DSC_0302

To finish my eyes just filled my eye brows in a bit and added the Benefit they’re real! mascara on both top and bottom lashed to make my eyes look a little bigger.

DSC_0303

I added a mix of nude/pink and brown lip products to give me a “your lips but better” kind of colour!

TA DAAA

DSC_0306

Also, do you reckon I changed my hair a bit?! I was really hating my hair and close to just shaving it off and buying a wig so I went into work on Monday with a photo of a girl’s hair a liked and let Paige do what she wanted! I know that you’re definitely not reading this but if you are Paige, you are a hair God and thank you SO much.

I hope you enjoyed this post! Goodbye for now little buns!

Lunch date MOTD

Hi guys! Today I am going to be showing you my makeup of the day including my new makeup revolution iconic pro palette which is the PERFECT dupe for the smash box full exposure palette!

It has 8 matte eye shadows and 8 shimmer eye shadows and to be quite honest I am way too excited. The shadows themselves are very pigmented and easy to blend- it’s a yes from me.

Also when I say lunch date it is with a friend who is a girl so don’t get too excited.

I know you love my dressing gown. And I’m sorry that my eyebrow game is not strong today.

Let’s begin!

First I took Luna an swept it across the lid as a base for all my other shadows.

Then I took Must and blended that in the crease, up towards my brow and in my outer corner.

I then did the same using Drama but concentrated it more in my crease to fake a shadow there.

Next I used Afflicted in my outer corners and slightly through my crease to darken the look slightly.

I then popped Fade on the centre of my lid to keep it brighter than the rest but not too dramatic looking.

Instead I eye liner I used Pitch and smudged it into my lash line to create the look of thicker lashes.

As I my inner corner highlight I used the shade Ghost.

For my lower lash line I just used Drama along the whole of it and then blended Afflicted into the outer third.

After adding on some mascara I was done! Since I have had a lot of compliments from my friends on my go to lip recently I thought I would include it!

First I just used the body shop Mahogany lip liner on the perimeter of my lips.

Then I use the lacura  Frosty Lilac lip liner all over the top.

And to seal it in place I use the collection colour pout lip stain in the  dark purpley colour (the name has rubbed off!)

I also just realised that my lips got more lazy throughout those pictures… Oops!

But yeah I hope you liked this little MOTD/review/tutorial and I will see you next time! Goodbye for now little buns!

Quick and easy vampire tutorial!

Bad evening everyone. Pffft I don’t know how to be evil or scary, who am I trying to kid? I got bored on Thursday afternoon and turned myself into a vampire in about 20 minutes, so, if you want something quick and easy for Halloween, or you are only just reading this on the 31st and are just about to walk out the door and have nothing on your face right now (and you aren’t the type to draw on whiskers and pretend you wanted to be a cat this whole time) keep reading. I promise none of the other sentences in this post are going to be that long.

DSC_0113

I started with my regular foundation because I am pale as but if you want to then use a paler foundation than usual or even a white face paint to create your base. You want to use a foundation with a good coverage because dead people don’t have pimples or rosey cheeks. I just used this foundation from The Body Shop in shade number 2 because they didn’t have number 1. If you have any pimples pop some concealer on but don’t put any underneath your eyes, you need to embrace your dark circles just this once.

DSC_0114

To make me a bit more pale and set my foundation I used talc. It is surprisingly good at setting foundation and white so you will look even more dead.

DSC_0117

I used this no name palette to create most of this look, starting with a black colour that isn’t sooooo black to contour as I normally would. If you don’t own a grey or black eye shadow (why not???) then just use a cool toned bronzer to sculpt your face, but try not to put too much colour into it because you don’t want to look alive now, do you?

DSC_0116

I then mixed together some black, purple, red and brown colours at random to create my eye look, using the same blending brush so that there was no distinct difference between the colours. I was also fairly messy as I wanted to use the fall out to worsen my dark circles. You just need to keep layering the colours and blending them out until you are happy with the result. It’s really that simple.

DSC_0099

See? Once you are happy with your eye shadow, add a bit more. If you are going out in the evening, which I am guessing the majority of you will be, you will need your make up to be slightly darker than you intended. Now its time to add eye liner and mascara.

DSC_0118

I used my avon glimmerstick on my waterline and then smudged it slightly on my top lashline. I made sure that I was fairly slap dash with the waterline so that it wasn’t so neat because Vampires aren’t neat, they need to get sh*t done and bite people. They don’t have time for perfect liner. I then used my Barry M showgirl mascara because I got it free with all the nail varnish I bought. It’s okay but I wouldn’t rave about it.

DSC_0103

Ignore my wonky nose and focus on how dead I look. I also have a jumper and a dressing gown on because it’s really really cold.

DSC_0107

DSC_0121

Now for our brows. I just did them normally using my Benefit brow zings and then actually went over them with my Maybelline Great Lash mascara to set my brows and make them real dark to in turn make me real pale. Well, paler.

DSC_0119

Now for my favourite part- the lips. I started by lining my lips with The Body Shops lip liner in “mahogany” and then going over that with their lipstick in “crazy sexy crimson”. For me, this was a little too red so I then went over it with the Rimmel Apocalips in “eclipse” and then tried to take pictures of me being a vampire, the key word there being tried.

DSC_0104

If you have hooded eyes, you will need to go preeeetty high up your eye but anyone else will be okay. You lucky things. But as you can see, when you open your eyes, it doesn’t look all that crazy.

DSC_0109

CRINGE ALERT

DSC_0112

Am I a vampire yet? Ooookey dokey so that’s it for today! Bit of a late post as I went shopping as per usual. If you are planning to be a vampire in advance you could get some fake blood and/or fangs to step this up a notch. If you don’t celebrate Halloween then don’t you worry I’ll have normal posts during October too. Have a great day/night, goodbye for now little buns!
