I made a YouTube channel??

Hi guys! After wanting to do it for years, I finally took the plunge and made a YouTube channel!

I will still have my blog posts obviously but I always like to watch/listen to YouTube videos when I’m getting ready rather than read blog posts, so I thought you guys might like to watch me..for some weird reason.

Anyways here is my first video- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zN2lPzS52Uw

I hope you enjoy it, goodbye for now little buns!

MAC Haul!

Hi Guys! As promised in my last post… Here’s my MAC haul! I planned in advance what I wanted to get and rewrote my list over and over to make sure I was getting exactly what I wanted as its not often that I get that much money to spend at MAC! I watched many “MAC must haves” videos and kept my brain ticking for about a week before I decided what I wanted..so here goes! And for those who are interested, I will have links and prices to everything at the end of the post.

DSC_0206

The first thing I got was the Fix+ and I am SO happy that I did! It also comes in the cute sparkly box which I love! Normally, regardless of the quality of my foundation, it will ALWAYS separate on my nose however using this it is set in stone. I went shopping on Sunday and then to a mini festival  and my makeup did not budge, even though I had it on from 9am until 1:30am! I am loving this product and would highly suggest it to anyone who struggles with keeping their makeup on their face!

DSC_0207

DSC_0208

DSC_0210

The next thing I got was 4 eye shadows and a mini palette to put them in! I am 100% aware that these look like the exact same colour and even when I tried to swatch them the camera just did not do them any justice! However I have used this for a good 5 days on the run and had a totally different eye look every day! The colours I chose are (from right to left on my swatch but left to right in the palette (good one Chloe)) “All that glitters”, “Cork”, “Patina” and “Tempting”. The shadows are so easy to work with and very pigmented. I think that they really suit blue eyes but I can imagine them suiting every eye colour!

DSC_0211

I had to pick up this blush in “dame”. I haven’t heard many people talk about it but it is the perfect light dusty rose colour and again I can imagine this suiting multiple, if not all skin tones. Even though it is very pale it is very pigmented and perfect for summer or any natural look.

DSC_0212

The next thing I bought was the pro longwear concealer in NC15 which is surprisingly thin feeling even though it is very full coverage. Because I am so pale and my skin is so thin my dark circles always prove tricky to hide but this makes it 10 times easier to pretend I don’t normally look dead. I have also been using it to cover up the redness I get round my nose ring and that has been doing the trick perfectly!

DSC_0213

I also picked up the strobe cream as I am all about that glowy skin. It feels really hydrating and gives my skin a lovely, healthy looking glow, my skin looks much less dull when I am wearing this. The woman who helped me (after waiting for an hour  for someone to be free to help me, thanks Fiona for being a good sport and waiting with me!) told me it was better value to get two little ones instead of one big one, you actually get more for less £ which we like…

DSC_0215

DSC_0216

The last thing I got was a frost lip stick in the colour “angel”. This is perfect for summer and is my equivalent of a nude. Once again the camera is not doing it any justice. I found that the lipstick stays on pretty well until I am eating and drinking which is pretty much the same with any lip stick.

DSC_0217

Here is my face with it all on! I only used two eye shadows though, “All that glitters” and “Cork”.

Also, to try and show you what the colours really look like, I took a nice grainy iphone picture..

IMG_1382

Did that help at all? Who knows, I hope so!

Prep and Prime Fix+ £15.50

Eye Shadows £10 each

Pro Palette Eye shadow x4 £5

Dame blush £18

Pro longwear concealer £17

Strobe Cream (travel size) £10

Angel Lipstick £15.50

I hope you enjoyed this post! And in case you missed my last two then I just want to say that I am in no way trying to brag, I was bought MAC gift cards for my birthday and thought it would be fun to do a haul for you guys! Anyway, I’m off to work in an hour so I should probably think of getting my lunch sorted! Goodbye for now little buns!

MOTD: shopping & movies

Hi guys! This is only going to be a short post as I am heading out the door in 2 seconds but I know I have been a little MIA (I will explain at a later date!) so I thought it was best to get something- anything up!

Since I am an Avon representative as of last week a lot of the products I have used are from Avon as I am testing them out!

I also took three different pictures pulling practically the same face in different lighting so you can see how it looks for sure!

Foundation- Illamasqua skin base in “SB 06” & L’oreal true match in “rose ivory”

Concealer- Revlon colour stay in “fair”

Powder- Avon colour correcting pearls

Contour- Bourjois chocolate bronzer

Blush & Highlight- Make up Revolution ultra professional blush palette

Eyeshadow- Avon quad in “stone taupes”

Eyeliner- Avon glimmer stick in “blackest black”

Mascara- 2 coats of the Avon “supershock”

Brows- anastasia dip brow pomade in “dark brown” and maybelljne brow drama in “medium brown”

Lips- The body shop “mahogany” lip liner and Avon “pout” lipstick

And that’s a wrap! I hope you enjoyed this little MOTD and I will speak to you all soon- have a great day and goodbye for now little buns!

Get pampered and ready with me!

Hi guys! I’ve had a pretty busy few weeks so I thought that today I would relax and take a little time to focus on myself.

I took inspiration from Carli Bybel and started by making myself a smoothie to make me feel good on the inside.

DSC_0117

For this I used frozen rhubarb, one banana, one kiwi, a ton of spinach, a splodge of honey and a little bit of milk and water to make it creamy but not be just dairy. Sometimes I use unsweetened soy or almond milk but I wanted the calcium today sooo yeah. It tastes super yummy and refreshing so is great first thing in the morning or any other time when you need a little pick-me-up.

I then used the Herbal Essences Bee Strong hair mask and my fave Avon Pore Penetrating Mineral Face Mask and sat on my bed with my big fluffy dressing gown on whilst I let them do their magic. I like to catch up on any missed blog posts or youtube videos during this time, at the minute I am really loving this baes blog (and her new hair).

DSC_0122

See? There I am, chilling.

DSC_0123

After washing off my face mask I used this hand treatment that I found for 99p! You just leave the gloves on for 20 minutes et voila! I just rubbed in what was left on my hands and then rinsed off the excess because I had been rubbing my hands for ages.

DSC_0125

While running my bath I decided to have breakfast food for lunch because it is my favourite. I just made some porridge and added a teaspoon of chocolate spread and then a sliced a banana, cinnamon, cocoa powder, a drizzle of honey and some chunky peanut butter on top. SO GOOD

DSC_0126

I decided to use the last purchase from my lush haul which is the “Granny Takes A Dip” bath bomb. I’m gonna miss smelling this every time I open my drawer. It is so ‘citrusy’ and spicy, I could eat it.

DSC_0128

DSC_0127

It also looks amazing as you pop it into your bath, the colour literally explodes, however my bath just looked pink rather than a mix of the different colours.

DSC_0130

Its still super lovely and makes my skin feel amazing though! I then tidied up my eyebrows and put my make up on before drying my hair and throwing it up into a bun.

MOTD:
DSC_0131

DSC_0136

You can hardly see my eye shadow here but I will put a picture up on my insta if you want to see my make up on a worse camera but not as washed out.

I then took a little trip to the shops and bought some things for Christmas so lemme just show you them real quick.

DSC_0140

I got 2 big snowmen and 1 santa from Thorntons to go with peoples gifts, they were half price AND on 3 for 2- so £10 all together!!!

DSC_0141

I then got my Mum some tea lights to give her them on Christmas Eve and then two samplers for my room.

DSC_0142

Then I picked my cousin up some make up for her to play with as she’s only 12 but being related to me she loves make up. I have the Heaven & Earth palette from MUA and the pigmentation is amazing so I thought that she would love this.

DSC_0143

And since everything was on 3 for 2 I bought myself some early Christmas presents. I will probably review the B. Replenished facial oil, I think that it will be my saviour with this cold weather but we will see! This lip combo is so vampy and dark, I have a feeling I am going to wear this all the time in winter.

DSC_0144

Its like the perfect amount of purple and red. If you want to recreate this it is, Max Factor “Mulberry” lipstick and Collection “Damson” lip liner.

And that is about it! I am just going to go for my singing lesson now and just chill later on and watch I’m a Celeb- I also bet my Mum that Gemma would go out in the first week, she owes me a pound. Goodbye for now little buns!

MOTD: Shopping!

Once again, I didn’t get a post up when I said I would, but let’s be honest, when does that ever happen? I was planning on a nail tutorial as my second post on Thursday but it all went t*ts up so here I am on Sunday instead. Hi. I bought that white T-shirt today and it makes me feel like a bad*ss.

I got my first ever pay check so shopping was 100% necessary, but because I have posted haul after haul, I won’t do another one because quite frankly, it gets a bit boring. And I will probably have more interesting hauls in the near future. So instead, why don’t we have a look at my makeup from today?

DSC_0091

I tried to make my eyes look A) Not hooded and B) Not puffy as I was out on the lash last night but it didn’t exactly work… oh well. I look very surprised at something on the floor, God knows what. I also never realised how weirdly shaped my nose is…

DSC_0096

For my base I used The Body Shop foundation in shade 2 with the obvious choice of the Collection Lasting Perfection concealer in “01- fair” under my eyes (and blended outwards towards my ears), down the bridge of my nose, in between my eyebrows, on my cupids bow and finally, on my chinny chin. Then I set this with the Rimmel Clear Complexion translucent powder. I also sprayed my face with a tiny bit of water before moving on because Wayne Goss (the absolute babe) said to use rose water to make your makeup look less cakey but I don’t have that and water is working perfectly fine for me!

DSC_0097

Then I used Benefits high beam on my cheekbones and cupids bow and the dandelion blush on my cheeks (duhh).

DSC_0098

I followed that up with my favourite bronzer- Bourjois Delice de Poudre in shade number 51. I put this in the hollows of my cheeks to make me look thinner, on the top of my forehead to make it look smaller, under my bottom lip to make it look more plump, down the sides of my nose to make it appear more narrow and finally under my jawline to make it look like I don’t in fact have a double chin. I really do love my bronzer.

DSC_0099

As per usual I started off my eyes with my nars smudge proof eyeshadow base. If you have particularly oily eyelids and/or hooded eyes like myself, this is an absolute life saver. I then used the light brown colour from this mini Urban Decay palette on the inner corner of my eyes and blended out as a sort of ‘wash’ of colour. Then I put the darkest colour on the outer corners, in the crease I wish I had and underneath my eyes. I also put a teeny tiny bit of the light champagney colour in my inner corners. I then lined my waterline with my trusty George white eye liner and my top lash line with my BarryM Blink waterproof eye liner. I finished my eyes off with the Benefit They’re Real mascara et voila!

DSC_0100

Chloe is the name, brows are the game. I firstly use Benefits brow zings in “medium” and then blend a bit of that dark brown colour from a little ‘palette’ I’ve had for a billion years because my hair is so super dark now. I then top it off with the Maybelline brow drama in “medium brown” which I have grown to love.

DSC_0101

For my lips I just slapped on this Nivea cherry lip balm and a Revlon lip butter in “berry smoothie”.

DSC_0102

I am the best at back grounds, aren’t I…? Let’s just ignore my room. And the reflection on my glasses. I have finished the post but I don’t think I’m quite ready to stop talking to you guys so I’ll tell you a little bit about last night.

I went to a friends 18th who I went to school with but haven’t spoken to them in like a year and it was so nice to catch up! I knew half the people there from my old school and then made friends with his college friends and it was so lovely because everyone go along so well! We also did shots with his Mum, it was great. At one point I got my hands on the remote for the music, so as soon as everyone started screaming the songs at the top of their voices, I would pause it, and as soon as they pressed play, I would pause it again. I am so evil but my word it was funny. I made friends when people realised I was doing it so I guess everyone has a little evil streak in them. That’s all I can properly remember of the night, apart from somehow destroying my jeans, I think I might have tried to do the splits. But yeah, that’s it for today, goodbye for now little buns!

I bought things…again.

I’m going to kill wordpress in a minute- this is my third attempt at this bloody post, third time lucky, eh? I will try and make this as short as I can but you know me, you might want to run and get a cuppa before you start reading…

Last weekend, after walking round Ikea for hours on end, I bought two things. Two.

DSC_0094

Candles. How very predictable of me. But who doesn’t love a good candle. These were 98p each and smell so amazing, as you can see, one is strawberry and the other is apple. I refuse to burn these until my room has finished being redecorated so I just keep pulling them out of the drawer for a sniff. B-e-a-u-tiful.

On Wednesday my Mum ordered me some shoes from Very (thanks Mum, if you’re reading. If you are- how the hell did you find my blog?).

DSC_0092

FRESH CONVERSE *heavy breathing*. These were supposed to be off-white but are clearly cream. Not that I care- I have worn them 3 times already. From what I can remember, these were £27, not bad, not bad at all.

DSC_0096

I wasn’t actually expecting these until next week but OH MYYY. These came yesterday and I have never been so excited, there was also a lot of bubble wrap for me to play with. I have seen so many mixed reviews on the “Mane n Tail” products so I just wanted to try it out for myself. I am yet to wash my hair with these as I have only had them for 24 hours but I have unscrewed them and had a little sniff and wow. I don’t quite know what I was expecting them to smell like but my gosh they smell amazing. They also look like they could grow in the dark which looks pretty cool. Oh and they were £7 for the set off amazon.

Yesterday I took a little trip to the Trafford Centre and, well, things happened. I had to go and buy presents for my sister-in-law, Emily, and so that was the perfect excuse to spend my results money (Again, thanks Mum).

DSC_0107

First up was Superdrug and I got this Barry M brow kit that I picked up for Emily. Her brow game is not so strong as she has a habit of rubbing her eyebrows off (w h a t) but hopefully she will be all sorted with this. At £5.99 you can’t really complain.

DSC_0108

I really did try to resist buying another nail varnish but I just couldn’t. Barry M make up 1/3 of my nail varnish collection, I just love them. This one is called “Watermelon” and reminds me of a Autumn/Winter version of “Guava” which I adore. All their nail varnishes are around the £4 mark which isn’t too bad. The one I have on in the picture is called “Lychee”.

DSC_0106

The last thing I got from Superdrug  was this Herbal Essences “bee strong” masque (I see what you did there). As you can probably guess, it smells like honey. It is super creamy and I just wanted a good hair masque really. It did help that it was on offer for £1.50.

DSC_0095

I don’t think it is possible to simply walk past Hotel Chocolat. Their chocolate is seriously the best. I picked up one of these for Emily and one for my Dad for being a good sport and coming shopping. They are £2 each which isn’t really that bad, just don’t look at the prices of the other things they sell.

Then, we went to The Body Shop, you can see where this is going.

DSC_0110

Just as we were walking towards the door a woman caught are attention at the word “sale”. I have super bad skin on my hands so any hand lotion is lovingly welcomed. These were £3.50 for two so I picked up the Shea one for my Mum, well, because that’s the one she wanted and then got the Strawberry one for myself because it smells like calpol. I was so hooked on that stuff as a child. It could cure anything.

DSC_0109

THEN we noticed a 3 for 2 sign. Oh dear. I have been searching for a good dark red for a while and “crazy sexy crimson” caught my eye. I wasn’t sure if it was dark enough for what I wanted but one of the lovely ladies who worked there was wearing it with their “mahogany” pencil and she looked like a beautiful vampire, and because I wanted to look like one too, I got both. I then got my Mum the “the right mauves” lipstick because she has no lipstick that she really loves and she refuses to buy things for herself.

DSC_0111

I was so close to the till when I heard my Mum shout “Chloe! They have a foundation shade pale enough for YOU!” (I know it doesn’t look that pale in the picture but just go with it). I immediately ran over to look for myself and there it was. Just begging for me to buy it…so I did. I have this on today and words cannot describe. A pale foundation that isn’t pink. I am in love. This one is in shade “02”, I’m not sure if there is an “01” but it wasn’t in the shop when I was there. I am very impressed with this foundation as it just looks like skin however it does gather a little around my eczema, but then again, what foundation doesn’t? No seriously, I’d love to know. It is a medium coverage but definitely buildable. For £13 I am a very happy bunny.

And the last stop, lush. I blame V for this. After reading her lush haul I just had to go.

DSC_0097

I was going to show you them individually but I can’t open one of them as its a present and I can’t figure out how to open the others without ripping them. Apologies.

I firstly picked up “pop in the bath” for Emily. It is such a cute bubble bar with a little flower on the top. Her and my brother have just moved house so I figured this would be perfect for that little bit of “me time”. Also, who doesn’t like lush?

Then I just rapidly picked three more things up without even realising. The first was “butterball”, I have heard so many amazing things about this so I bought this as my skin needs some summer lovin’. It smells so creamy and lovely, I just can’t wait to use it. Next is one I just bought for the name, “granny takes a dip”- what? It is super colourful though which is mega cool. Lastly I picked up the “you’ve been mangoed” bath melt because I can only imagine how nice this will make my skin feel. Everything from lush smells amazing but I am awful at describing scents so I suppose you are just going to have to go in there and smell them yourself! 😉

DSC_0105

As I got to the till the really nice, and intimidatingly attractive, cashier asked if I would like to donate £2 to charity and get 2 charity pots and a free bath bomb- erm, yes!! These smell like perfume, I say “these” but I have only managed to open one, I’M WEAK. He chose the “sex bomb” bath ballistic for me- coincidence? I think not.

Done and dusted! I hope you enjoyed my haul and it made you want to go shop. If you have any of the above, let me know what you think! Right, I’m off to cower in the corner like a dog that’t just been told off and cry at the damage to my bank account. Okay, maybe I’m being a little unrealistic, I’m actually going to do the ice bucket challenge…again (I knew I shouldn’t have nominated my brother). If you haven’t done it, this is me nominating you- GO DO IT! Good bye for now little buns!

Mini Haul!

So I went to get a cleanser and game back with a bit more- and pizza! To be quite honest I’m surprised that I came back with the cleanser because normally I forget what I actually went for. So- let’s dive right in!

DSC_0082

The first thing I picked up was this absolute beauty. I don’t know how or why it works but I know that I love it. For someone with super sensitive skin this is great. There are no perfumes or alcohol (that I know of) in the product so it doesn’t irritate or dry out my skin. It also removes ALL of my makeup so effortlessly! And it’s hypoallergenic. It was around £5 but for a cleanser that I loooove in a 400ml bottle, who cares? Not me.

DSC_0083

My second purchase was the Collection Lasting perfection concealer in “fair”. I wouldn’t say that this completely covers up my under eye circles but I am yet to find any product that does. It is fairly lightweight and very easy to blend, Its not particularly pink as well which I love because most pale products are pink toned and that just annoys me. This is my third tube so I must like it. I think this was about £3 but I don’t know because I binned the receipt immediately. REMOVE ALL EVIDENCE.

DSC_0084

The next two things I picked up were top coats. I love the idea of making any of my nail varnish matt so I picked up one matt top coat and one normal one! They were both about £4 each, not bad, eh? The one on the right is also a base coat and a nail hardener- bonus! These are both by Barry M because I just LOVE their nail varnishes, especially the gelly nails, I can’t get enough of them! If you don’t own any Barry M product please try any of the gelly nails colours, please? I promise you will fall in love.

DSC_0085

This next thing I got is kinda random. My Dad loves this anti-perspirant but won’t buy it because its nearly £4. I felt like I should buy him something because the other day I went to go the loo and my phone fell out of my pocket and some how slid underneath the bath, meaning he had to take off the side panel to get my phone out. He won’t let me get him chocolates so now he can smell nice instead.

DSC_0086

I got these two for my little cousin, she’s like the sister I never had. Because she’s only 12 I don’t want to full on splurge on makeup for her but I did pick these two up….and order an eyeshadow and concealer palette online, whoops.  These were only £1 each! The lipstick is a gorgeous creamy coral colour in the shade “nectar”- cute – and the blusher is, as you can see, a plain pick colour in the shade “bubble gum”. I am so happy that they have started to properly name their products instead of them just being numbers, go MUA!

DSC_0087

Whilst I was in that section I spotted this matt lipstick. I got it in the colour “wild berry” as I am loving dark grungey colours at the moment. I know that I am going to wear it constantly in Autumn and Winter! I was a little disappointed when I swatched it though.

lipstick

It is still a beautiful colour, but just not as dark as I had hoped, at all.

And that is it! If you were wondering what colour nail varnish I had, well, have on it is just the Barry M matt black- surprise, surprise. I hope you enjoyed this post and are having a great day, goodbye for now little buns!
